There are seaside attractions close by in Bridlington, Scarborough and Filey, bird watching at Bempton Cliffs, a petting zoo at Honeysuckle Farm, and lots of other family activities. If you want a little local history, you can visit Castle Howard, Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere Hall, Burton Constable Hall, Burnby Hall Gardens, or Sewerby Hall (or even take part at Skidby Windmill). If you want something slightly more physical, there are horse riding stables around the corner, and of course we have fishing on site. If you want to travel further, it’s not very far to Malton and Pickering to take in the views, or you can travel on the North Yorkshire moors steam railway (Heartbeat country), the walks and cycle tracks at Dalby Forest, or even a theme park day out at Flamingo Land.
