European Open Beach Fishing Championship 2012 – March 2nd – 4th

The European Open Beach Championship is the biggest three-day fishing festival in Europe, attracting visitors and shore anglers from across the UK and Europe.

The Championship takes place in Bridlington, and is now in its 19th year.  This fantastic event is a favourite with British sea anglers, and the 2012 event promises an even larger number of European anglers and spectators.

The 2012event also includes the Bridlington Flattie Bash, which is a very popular measure and return event that is held on Friday 2nd March, and is a chance for anglers to get together for a bit of fun before the main event. The Bridlington Flattie Bash is a fishing competition offering cash and tackle prizes, and will be held on Wilsthorpe beach from the new boat compound.
